2017 Multihull Solutions Regatta

With winds reaching high 20's only three of the Corsair Pulse 600 trimarans decided to brave the conditions, but this did not diminish the excitement of the class. Paul Baker/John Priestly aboard Pulse Yellow  claimed victory in the first race of the event. Andrew DeBruin's Multihull Solutions H30 snatched the second race and the overall lead by the end of day one. A costly mistake for Java Racing left them with a DNF in third and a lot of work recover from their penalty.

Paul Baker/John Priestly in Pulse Yellow again claimed victory in both races on day two. Corsair Production manager Zam Bevan and Multihull Solutions Andrew de'Bruen on Multihull Solutions H30 never recovered after loosing the spinnaker overboard and Pulse Yellow went on to claim the next race and climb up to take the overall lead.

Determined to take back the lead, Andrew DeBruin's Multihull Solutions H30 returned with speed to take the last days victory but a little to late to completely recover. Second place for Paul Baker/John Priestly Pulse Yellow ended up tied on points with Multihull Solutions H30 but dropping a 3rd place versus 2nd, gave Pulse Yellow victory by one point, in the Pulse 600 class.
