The Corsair trimarans have been showing up all week at San Giorgio di Nogaro, Italy in preparation for the 2016 Corsair European Multihull Championship. The championship, being held in conjunction with the La Duecento 2016 is an offshore regatta only open to Corsairs over 8.5m. Unfortunately, bad weather in central Europe including snow in southern Germany and Austria is making it difficult for some entrants to arrive on time for the race start. We hope everyone traveling to the championships takes it slow and steady and arrives safely for the start of today's racing.
Two Cruze 970 entrants already are already on site and being prepared for racing. Corsair's production manager Zam Bevan has flown in for the event and will be sailing alongside some of Europe's hottest trimaran sailors.
